Terms of service

These terms apply when you use the Fake Dvipam website and desktop app (the “service”). The service is provided by Fake Dvipam (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use it.

1. The service

Fake Dvipam is a desktop application that transcribes audio you hear from other participants in a call, detects questions, and shows you a suggested answer generated by an AI model. The suggestions are shown in a window that is excluded from screen capture by the meeting software on your computer.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live.
  • You sign in with a Google account. Keep it secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • One account is for one person. Don’t share it or resell access.

3. Plans, minutes and payment

  • Plans are one-time purchases priced in Indian rupees (INR). They are not subscriptions and do not renew.
  • Each plan adds a set number of usage minutes to your account. The current plans and prices are on the pricing page.
  • Payments are processed by Razorpay. We don’t see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
  • Minutes are added after the payment is confirmed. Minutes are used while a session is running and stay in your account until used.
  • Minutes are personal to your account and can’t be transferred or exchanged for cash.
  • We may change prices and plans. A change never affects minutes you have already bought.

4. Refunds

Our refund policy explains when and how you can get your money back. It forms part of these terms.

5. Using the service lawfully

You are responsible for how you use the service. That includes following the laws that apply to you and to the people on your call.

  • Laws on recording, transcribing and processing conversations differ by country and state. Where the law requires notice or consent from the other people on a call, you must give it or get it before you use the service.
  • Follow the terms and settings of the meeting platform you use, and any rules set by the host or your organisation.
  • Don’t use the service in exams, proctored or assessed tests, or in any setting that prohibits assistance, including any interview or evaluation where outside help is not allowed.
  • Don’t use it to deceive people in a way that causes them harm, to harass anyone, or to break the law.
  • Don’t reverse-engineer, copy, resell or attack the service, or try to get around usage limits.

6. AI-generated answers

Suggested answers come from an AI model. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. They are not legal, medical, financial or other professional advice. You decide what to say, and you are responsible for it.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running but don’t promise it will always be available or error-free. Transcription and detection depend on audio quality, your device and third-party software. We may update, change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service, we’ll refund unused minutes.

8. Ownership

We own the service and its software. You own your content. You give us permission to process it only as needed to run the service for you, as described in our privacy policy.

9. Suspension and ending

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law. If we close your account without a breach on your part, we’ll refund unused minutes.

10. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by how you use the service or by an answer you chose to rely on. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts with jurisdiction at our registered office (Registered business address, City, State, PIN, India).

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we’ll tell you by email or in the app. Using the service after a change means you accept it. This version was last updated on 27 September 2026.
